The Yorkshire Financial Awards is delighted to welcome Louise Hewitt, senior financial planner at Aberdeen PLC and council member of the Insurance Institute of York, to the judging panel for the 2026 event.
With 25 years’ experience assisting customers with money matters, Louise is passionate about helping people achieve their dreams and goals through preserving and growing their wealth. She finds particular reward in unravelling pensions and confirming clients are on track for the retirement lifestyle they want, while simplifying the complexities of financial matters to give peace of mind and a well-planned financial future.
Having taken time out to raise a family, Louise returned to the industry five years ago, updating her industry qualifications and currently working towards chartered status.
Outside of work, Louise enjoys yoga, gardening and spending time with her two teenagers walking in the beautiful countryside – especially when there’s a great coffee and cake stop along the way.
Ahead of this greatly anticipated event, Louise comments: “I’m very much looking forward to working with the Yorkshire Financial Awards panel to review applications for the 2026 awards which will no doubt highlight the huge breadth of talent we have in the region.”
The Yorkshire Financial Awards 2026 will take place on Thursday 7 May at New Dock Hall, Leeds, celebrating the outstanding achievements of the region’s financial services sector. Entry registration is open now, with official entries opening Friday 22nd of August and closing on Friday 6 February 2026.
