The shortlist for the Yorkshire Financial Awards 2026 has officially been revealed, showcasing the individuals and organisations driving excellence across the region’s financial services sector.
Recognising achievement across financial advice, insurance, fintech, lending and professional services, this year’s finalists reflect both the depth of talent and the continued growth of the industry across Yorkshire.
Firms with multiple category finalist achievements include CHN Financial Consultancy, Yorkshire Financial Services, Berry & Oak, Coppice, and Nicola Kay Mortgage & Protection Specialists, highlighting consistent performance and excellence across multiple areas of the sector.
Key categories continue to spotlight both individual and organisational success. The Financial Adviser of the Year and Independent Financial Advisory Firm of the Year categories recognise professionals and firms delivering strong client outcomes and sustained growth, while insurance and claims-focused categories highlight those raising standards in service and customer support.
New for 2026, the Best Marketing Campaign category has been introduced, focusing on measurable results, return on investment and the ability to remain compliant within regulatory requirements. The category has proven highly popular in its debut year, with finalists including Bradford District Credit Union, Evlo, IBOSS Asset Management, Leeds Building Society and StepChange Debt Charity.
The shortlist demonstrates a balance between established names and emerging businesses, reinforcing Yorkshire’s position as a major hub for financial services in the UK.
Winners will be announced at the Yorkshire Financial Awards ceremony in Leeds on 7 May 2026, where industry leaders from across the region will come together to celebrate success and achievement.
With tickets already more than 50% sold, the event is expected to sell out, underlining its growing importance within the regional financial calendar.
